Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By checking the agreement box during registration, you agree to be bound by all of the following terms and conditions.
- 1.By submitting your team to play in an NBFA competition you agree to adhere to the NBFA playing rules and By-Laws. Failure to adhere could result in your team or certain players being suspended or removed from the competition. View NBFA Playing Rules · View NBFA By-Laws
- 2.By registering your team you agree to have all fees — both registration and match fees — paid in full by round 1. As team manager you are responsible for these fees and the full amount may be taken from your selected credit card if your team fails to pay within the allocated time.
- 3.If your team withdraws from the competition at any stage without paying all fees, NBFA reserves the right to charge your selected credit card for the match fees of all matches played.
- 4.If your team withdraws within 7 days of the commencement of the competition, two match fees will be charged to your selected credit card. Failure to advise NBFA of withdrawal will also incur a charge of two match fees. These fees may only be waived at NBFA’s discretion in extreme circumstances.
- 5.NBFA reserves the right to use any futsal-related images from NBFA-sanctioned competitions for social media and marketing purposes.
- 6.NBFA accepts no responsibility for damage to motor vehicles at any NBFA futsal centre.
- 7.NBFA accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property at any NBFA venue.
- 8.NBFA reserves the right to remove any person demonstrating anti-social behaviour inside its venues, at the discretion of NBFA employees and management.
- 9.NBFA reserves the right to change draws, game times, or venues without notice.
- 10.NBFA may cancel games due to dangerous conditions including weather or court conditions.
- 11.Where a team is forfeited against 3 or more times during a season, NBFA has discretion over the refund amount or forfeit charge applied.
- 12.NBFA may shorten or extend the number of rounds per season at its discretion.
- 13.By agreeing to these terms you accept NBFA’s grading and division system. Grading decisions may be appealed but NBFA’s decision is final.
- 14.NBFA has final authority over the outcome of replayed or forfeited games and over which division any team ends in.
- 15.If requested, all junior team officials must provide a current Working With Children Check number.
- 16.All teams agree to play in a home and away league system where required for their age group or competition.
All registered players are bound by this code of conduct. A player, whether on or off the field, must refrain from:
- –Continual breaches of the rules
- –Swearing, foul, abusive or derogatory language
- –Verbal abuse on the basis of religion, sexual orientation, disability, race, colour, or national/ethnic origin
- –Arguing with or talking back to a referee
- –Dissent or disapproval following a referee decision
- –Intentional physical contact not permitted by the rules, or fighting
- –Attacking the head of an opponent or tripping
- –Entering the field under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- –Excessively hard touches or overly aggressive play
- –Any action deemed to bring the game into disrepute
Breaches may result in suspension, bans, removal from competition, or referral to law enforcement. All monies paid will be forfeited if a team is removed due to a Code of Conduct breach, unless NBFA agrees to a partial refund.

Role of the Team Captain / Organiser
- –Team captains are responsible for the conduct of their players and spectators on and off the field
- –All participating players must register online
- –The team captain is responsible for collecting all money, paid in full by the required date
- –Failure to pay by the required date results in forfeiture of the deposit and possible removal from the competition
- –To play finals, a player must be registered on or before week 8 fixtures begin
- –Players under 14 cannot participate. Players under 18 require a signed guardian letter
- –Players must be registered to be insured
- –All registered players are covered by NBFA's Sports Insurance Policy — details available at info@nbfa.com.au
- –Injury claims require same-day reporting to both the referee and competition manager, and completion of an Injury Report form
- –NBFA provides minimum cover only — participants are encouraged to hold private health, life, and income protection insurance
NBFA does not offer refunds once round 1 has commenced. A credit for the following season may be offered. NBFA may withhold a $165 deposit fee for cancellations before the season commences. Insurance fees are not included in any credit.

Disclaimer and Acknowledgements
By registering, participants release NBFA from all liability for any claim, damage, personal injury, or illness arising from participation in any NBFA activity, whether or not caused by NBFA or another person. Participants acknowledge and consent to physical contact inherent in the sport.

Referee Authority and Match Officials
- –Referee decisions on play, discipline, fouls, goals, and match conduct are final
- –Referee errors do not invalidate a match result or constitute grounds for a replay or refund
- –Concerns regarding referee performance must be submitted in writing and will be used for development purposes only
- –Abuse or misconduct directed at referees or officials may result in suspension, bans, or removal
Teams are responsible for the conduct of their spectators. Spectator misconduct may result in team sanctions including point deductions, fines, or removal from the competition.
NBFA has sole discretion over the outcomes of suspended or abandoned matches, including whether they are replayed, declared a draw, or awarded to one team.
Playing unregistered, suspended, or otherwise ineligible players may result in match forfeiture and removal from the competition. The team captain is responsible for ensuring all players are eligible before each match.

Concussion and Player Welfare
Players suspected of concussion may be directed to leave the field immediately by a referee, official, or NBFA staff member. Such a player may not return to the field until cleared by a medical professional.
NBFA may photograph, film, and livestream competitions for promotional use across its website, social media, and other channels. Participation constitutes consent to this use.
Personal information is collected for the purposes of competition administration, insurance, and communications. NBFA will not share your information with third parties except as required by law or for the purposes of insurance administration.
NBFA is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes to competitions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government directives, or venue closures.
Abuse, threats, or intimidation directed at officials, NBFA staff, volunteers, or other participants will not be tolerated under any circumstances and may result in permanent exclusion from all NBFA competitions.
Participants acknowledge that futsal is a physical contact sport carrying inherent risks of injury. All participants take part at their own risk. By registering, participants confirm they are medically fit to participate.
